To be the leading...known as the premier...so start the now common "Mission Statements" offered by companies, civic organizations, even religious congregations. What I have is a single physician private practice that since 1987 has been there for my patients and referring doctors and families. Yes, I'm Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, I have a local and national network of colleagues to call on when the patient is best served by another doctor, and I care about working with patients who wish to work with me. No physician extenders, available and prompt appointments, and access to modern, low cost outpatient procedural facilities are what patients can expect. My staff and I are waiting to serve you.
What is Gastroenterology? Besides a tongue twister to pronounce, it is a subspecialty discipline of Internal Medicine dealing with health and disease of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine (colon), liver and pancreas. Common concerns of patients seeking diagnosis and treatment by a gastroeterologist are abdominal pain, diarrhea, difficulty swallowing, gastroesophageal reflux, and unexplained bleeding or anemia. The prevention of colon cancer by proper testing and follow up is among our most important service areas.
I hope this website is useful as an introduction and a resource. The links to the procedural facilities and the informational links are intended to make your experience easier and more complete.
